APPLICANT INFORMATION – 2007-2008

I. Eligibility Criteria
Eligible for application at the Agricultural College are all Bulgarian and Foreign citizens, who have graduated from high school. There is no age limit.
All who may expect to be recruited by the Bulgarian Army Offices for completion of military duties MUST apply for the Full-time form of education only!


II. Application Process
All applicants MUST submit the following documents:
- Application Form, addressed to the Rector;
- Official document for graduation from high school – original or copy; (At the moment the documents are being submitted, the original is returned to the applicant and the copy is taken, after comparison);
- ID card
- Application with personal data of the applicant
- Fee Receipt proving that the applicant have paid the entrance examination fee;
- Military Card in case the applicant wish to study in the Part-time form of education and may prove that he is delayed for military service, indeed;


Admitted to the programs are all applicants, who meet the selection criteria and there is no discrimination on the basis of racial, ethnical, national, political, gender, age or any other background or affiliation.
All students may apply to all majors and forms of education offered, stating clearly their priorities on the application form.
All application documents are packed into a single packet and may be obtained from the Agricultural College. To get the application package the applicant MUST have paid the entrance examination fee in advance.
All application documents MUST be submitted in person or by an authorized person in the deadlines set.


III. Application Process is divided in three rounds, as it follows:

ROUND – I

Round – III
Round-III is subject to announcement, if placements are available. The documents for submission are as it follows:
Application for Round-III;
Certificate for successfully passed candidate-student entrance examination;
High School Diploma (original and copy)

IV. Entrance Examination
The grade from the Entrance Exam for the Agricultural College or the Entrance Exam for another University or College during the current year is taken into consideration along with the high school grades in Geography, History, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Economics, Bulgarian language, Literature, as well as the Test in Bulgarian language and a Test in a Foreign language form a score, which serves as a basis for competitiveness of the applicants.

V. TUITION
Education in the Agricultural College is paid.
Tuition may be paid in two semester installments.
Tuition is paid 15 days prior the commencement of the semester.
Tuition is paid through any of the commercial bank offices.
The initial tuition charge is paid prior to the day of enrollment in through any of the commercial bank offices.

Full-time tuition per semester: 255 /two hundred and fifty five/ Euros /EUR/, or its Bulgarian equivalent currency rate of 499 /four hundred and ninety nine/ Bulgarian Levs /BGL/;
Part-time tuition per semester: 170 /one hundred and seventy/ Euros /EUR/, or its Bulgarian equivalent currency rate of 333 /three hundred and thirty three/ Bulgarian Levs /BGL/;
Distance Form of Education: 218 /two hundred and eighteen/ Euros /EUR/, or its Bulgarian equivalent currency rate of 425 /four hundred and twenty five/ Bulgarian Levs /BGL/;
