HIGHER SCHOOL "AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE" PLOVDIV

This year the Higher School “Agricultural College” opens its offices for enrollment for a 15-th time in a roll.
We have already started issuing the European Diploma Supplements. We implemented the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System /ECTS/. We founded an “International Center for Distance Learning”. Moreover, the Agricultural College is to open divisions in the UK and other European countries at the beginning of the new academic year in addition to its domestic distance learning.
The Agricultural College established new partnerships with institutions from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Slovenia, Lithuania, Romania, and Turkey.
The new educational direction in the sphere of tourism is developed in partnership with the Sullivan University /USA/ and the College of Tourism and Hotel Management /Cyprus/.
Also, we keep developing the internship programs with countries of the EU. The new majors in the field of production, processing and distribution of fruits, vegetables, grape, wine, flowers, ether-oil cultures as well as tourism provide maximum benefits to our students.
And, it is a widely known fact to the community that our College takes care of helping our students to find their professional path. At the College, only the best professors and assistants are invited to teach, and they take into consideration our students’ opinion in designing their courses.
Furthermore, it was last academic year when we started a project with the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, and the first baccalaureates, majoring in the “Agrarian Economics” already graduated.
On the threshold of the beginning of the new academic 2006/2007 year, we plan to get more focused onto preparing our students to be able to design and develop real projects and start application procedures for the subsidies available through the EU for the agricultural sector of Bulgaria. Also, we develop extra internship programs for our students, and we plan an international certificate to be issued for all those who complete these internships.
It is an initiative of the Agricultural College that June 06, 2006 to be celebrated nationwide as the “Day of the Bulgarian Outstanding Student”. It is so, because the Bulgarian outstanding students are our pride, our contribution into the world intellect and vanguard into the future economic, scientific, and educational development.
We wish best luck to our candidate-students, who have input motivation, hard work, and responsibility into their preparation.
